In a ground-breaking initiative aimed at transforming the lives of women in nomadic communities, JHF, with Funding support from the Stop TB Partnership’s Challenge Facility for Civil Society Round 12 grant, launched an empowerment program designed to foster sustainable livelihoods and enhance personal development. This program is tailored to address the unique challenges faced by Nomadic women, providing them with essential tools and resources to achieve economic independence and social empowerment.

Through these targeted efforts, our program not only uplifts individual women but also strengthens the fabric of Nomadic communities as a whole. This we have seen from a similar empowerment project implemented as part of another Stop TB Partnership grant in Bauchi State of Nigeria. By investing in the empowerment of Nomadic women, we are building a foundation for long-term social and economic progress, transforming lives, and creating a wave of positive change through improved independence and the ability to bargain for gender related issues of high priority especially in Nomadic communities. Join us in supporting this vital initiative and contributing to a brighter, more empowered future for women across Nomadic communities of North East Nigeria!
