At the National TB Conference 2024 in Abuja, held on December 13, Janna Health Foundation (JHF) was honoured with the prestigious National Award for its exceptional contributions to fighting tuberculosis (TB) in Nigeria. The conference, organized by the Stop TB Partnership Nigeria and NTBLCP, brought together key stakeholders to discuss TB control strategies.

JHF was recognized for its tireless efforts to improve access to medical services, promote maternal and child health, and reduce the socio-economic impact of TB, HIV, and leprosy. The foundation’s notable achievements include its World TB Day outreach in Adamawa State, where over 700 individuals were screened and 15 TB cases identified.

The National Award is a significant milestone for JHF, and it underscores the organization’s dedication to improving the health and well-being of communities in Nigeria. As JHF continues to work towards a healthier future, this recognition serves as a motivation to strengthen its efforts and collaborate with other stakeholders to end TB in Nigeria.
